Who we are
Pure Eden Wellbeing is a holistic wellness studio in St Helens. You can find us at 36 Bridge Street, St Helens, WA10. We are the people responsible for the personal information described on this page (the data controller, in the language of the law).
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through the enquiry form. When you fill it in, that is:
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number, if you add one (optional)
- the treatment you are interested in, and any preferred day or time you mention (optional)
- the message you write to us, and anything personal you decide to include in it
We do not use tracking cookies or analytics that identify you, and we do not ask for any special category information (such as health details). Please only share what you are comfortable telling us in order to arrange a treatment.
How we use it
We use your details for one thing: to reply to your enquiry and arrange a booking. Your message reaches us as an email so we can get back to you. We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Our lawful basis
Under UK data protection law we need a lawful basis to handle your information. When you send us an enquiry, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to you and running the studio, which is also what you are asking us to do by getting in touch. Where you volunteer extra detail, we treat that as given with your consent, and you can ask us to stop using it at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails only for as long as we reasonably need them, to answer you, arrange your visit, and keep a sensible record of our correspondence. When they are no longer needed, we delete them. If you would like us to remove your details sooner, just ask.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own use. A small number of trusted services help us run the site and receive your enquiry, acting only on our instructions (data processors):
- Resend delivers the enquiry form as an email to the studio.
- Vercel hosts this website.
Beyond that, we would only ever disclose your information if the law required us to.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, and to have it deleted. You can also object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it. We will not charge you for this and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (the ICO), the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk, though we would always rather you came to us first so we can put things right.
Getting in touch about your data
For any question about your privacy, or to make any of the requests above, please contact us through the enquiry form on our home page and let us know it is a privacy request. We will come back to you as quickly as we can.
